The definition of racism isn’t in an act, but in the ideal. Racism stems from a psychological ailment that would allow an individual to continue to believe a lie though the truth is in their heart and in front of their eyes. What is so cold about the history or racism and bigotry is the ripple effects that are never ending (it seems). People don’t know why they hate, but it is inherited and also just so easy to do when it comes to people of darker hues. If we were to speak to Zimmerman, who apparently has black a “friend(s)” he may not a racist bone in his body, but his hatred can still be just as potent as evident by how he stalked and killed this boy in the name of his own sense of justice.

Do we as human beings kill insects because we inherently feel superior to them or because we are disgusted by them? Is there a difference? I think about Black on Black crime in the same context. It is hatred that must be combated. This hatred is in opposition to humanity not restricted to race. Personally I may feel him utilizing the junk term “coon” as an indicator of his mental state and seething motivation to shot this boy moving to categorize it as a true “hate-crime”, but Racism in this case is the low hanging fruit. This is an opportunity to improve the human condition, which is a much more critical focus.

Zimmerman maybe profiled Trayvon racially and attached all what he “knows” and is projected about how black men and especially young black men are the super-predators. Racially motivated is a questionable way for me to see this, but hate filled, misguided, criminal, cold-blooded, and flat out evil is what I can clearly see…But guess those encompasses all of this and it is much easier to see a racially motivated lack of action, compassion, and following of law enforcement protocol are the Sanford Police…Surprise Surprise.

They are the most guilty in this case than even Zimmerman to me!! As far as I am concerned the Sanford Police are accomplices and complicit in Trayvons murder. They practiced LIE ENFORCEMENT NOT LAW ENFORCEMENT. They should be identified and charged as such…BUT there is something very F’d up about wearing a badge in this country. Once you put it on you give an oath to Serve and Protect, while also not being held accountable for your humanity or lack of it toward those you are supposed to protect. Glorified Overseers, Bullies and Cowards in Kevlar! This is the theme that makes Black men scream! Why Don’t Our Lives Count!! Why Don’t We Take Yours And Let You See How It Feels?!? How Can We Walk Tall and Lead Our Families Down The Right Path If We  Have No Rights To Stand On?

It has long been open season on Black Men…Far too long. So when people get into their militant bag and start to steer away from the law abiding way and away from the stability and sanctity of marriage, raising children and building foundation because it doesn’t seem possibly or permanent it is a big unknown as to why. We’ve been shown too often police or anyone with the resources and/or acceptable hue can revoke your rights because they revile your race or culture!

That is the crime and that is the cause of true hate crimes. It is all to easy to hate, hinder, and hunt down Black lives. When will it end and when will we make it end?

Why Cracker Doesn’t Equal Nigger Doesn’t Matter

I love and respect what some White brothers and sisters feel around the discomfort of hearing the word cracker in the mix of comedy, socio-political messaging by way of art, or just out of pure valid (often misguided) frustration. It is not, has never been, and will never be equal to the inherent pangs of nigger.

The origin of the pejorative (cracker) isn’t close to nigger at its depth or shallow usage. Cracker at its most basic translation is an oppressor. It’s origin have nothing to do with an idiotic and ill-studied stereotype to foster guilt free carnage on a Race of people turned full blown psychosis nigger and its resulting political and social representation. This is not an attempt (Being a Black man myself) to claim “our pain is greater”…We all have our hurdles and pathways to understanding to travel. I am one to tell people not to lend value to a word to the point where it alters your own perspective and/or mood. Nigger/Cracker or any racially related or otherwise directed pejorative only have the value you assign it as a free thinking individual.

If you wear it, then you share it…I refuse. Let it go. If a man calls you a cracker…are you an oppressive figure that looks down on people of color as being less than you based on mere color, culture or racial distinction?? If not…Release the emotion. Be the best you.

If you are called a nigger…what does that even mean? The people who developed this term weren’t deep thinkers…they were not Gods. It wasn’t even a pejorative in its original nature! It developed in to this as the devolving moral code of those who participated in, exacted and germinated the harmful bacteria that is racial supremacy took place. It has no place in the heart of a proud people to allow senseless babble to befuddle their brilliance!! Get over it and GET ABOVE IT!

Rather than be sensitive it is more productive to be informed. Move forward your thinking and love what you are made of. That is what ultimately makes you most impactful and it is what draws love toward you.

Thank you,

Your Feelings?

NBA 4 Team Trade Idea

Sixers (2.7mil exception)

Acquire: Amare Stoudemire, Mo Williams, Ryan Gomes, Keyon Dooling

Reason: Sixers get a seemingly unhappy true allstar to compliment their group of great young hustle players that also have budding skill. Amare can be a center piece to a lot of great talent. Also he plays with a real PG again that can get him better shots. Mo Williams is an upgrade of Lou Williams and can even start next to Jrue as Jrue is capable of defending bigger guards, which makes Mo Happy. Dooling and Gomes just will in roles and are veteran presence.

Knicks

Acquire: Elton Brand , Eric Bledsoe

Reason: Brand is overpaid, but he is a very productive forward. He will do all the dirty work Amare doesn’t and will give you low post presence most nights. He will work in that offense better and rebound on both ends better. He has 2 years on his contract rather than the 4 committed to Amare as well. Bledsoe is a great young piece to store away as you see what the Vets can offer. He is and Shumpert as your future backcourt along with Fields is an attractive and cheap upside.

Sixers and still utilize Amenesty correct? Why not Nocioni’s 6.6 mil? Freeing up even more space that makes this move a serious one that keeps their financial books clean. You want to make a splash as a new ownership to get your fans on board, this is how you do it. This gets you a Playoff series win as well as a brighter future.

Clippers (6.6mil exception)

Acquire: Andre Iguodala, Lou Williams, Chris Wilcox

Reason: Clips need a wing with Size that can defend, finish and hit open shots. Sixers’ fans will laugh at the open shot part, but when Andre played with better players that produced open shots for him he was a much more effective shooter. Regardless of that he is great defender, rebounder and playmaker on the wing opening up things even more for a Clipper team that struggles defending the wing at times and needs all the rebounding and playmaking help they can get when CP3 isn’t on the floor. Lou Williams is a great compliment to Billiups and CP3 coming off the bench knocking down shots as well as changing the pace. Wilcox is a big body, 6 fouls, and expiring contract.

Celtics (about 950,000 exception)

Acquire:

Randy Foye, Brian Cook, Tony Douglas (upgrade for Dooling and Wilcox)

Reason: Great upgrade for losing just Wilcox and Dooling who aren’t factors on the team. Foye give you versatility and young legs to run with a great playmaker in Rondo. Cook is really just a big body that can stretch the floor while Rondo, Pierce, and Allen get their picks and penetrate. Douglas if he can heal is a gamer and he makes plays when it count. He is an upgrade over Avery Bradley at this point easily. Boston still may want to trade one of the big 3 and his doesn’t do anything but help that if it is going to be Allen for a youthful guard and size (I’m thinking Minnesota Wesley Johnson and their center Nikola Pekovic)

Thoughts?

If MLK Jr Awoke Today Just To See Where We Are He Would Say…?

Arron McGruder’s take to me is Satire at its best…a lot of truth in harsh words. though we have much to be proud of there is so much that we’ve let go to waste as a nation. I’m not putting short comings on the Black community, because as much as African Americans contributed to this nations growth and forced this country to be a symbol of justice (even if it is by perception only and that ideal has long faded with repeated acts of war and destruction around the globe) frankly with all of the collective influence Africans turned Americans have been we are not the majority. This message applies to the US on whole. You let lewdness and ignorance flow freely it seeps into your institutions (Religion, Education, Legislation, Judicial, Family, etc.) Our politicians are buffoons, our education is not second to none, but second to last, religion is more close to gang affiliation than spiritual guidance, Justice is just a dream or tantamount to a Vegas casino trip, and our Family’s have been beaten down to where parents are no longer the most influential figures in a child’s life and don’t have the time to be in their class, activities, guide their spirits, and discipline their actions as their full time job…they have to work in an overpriced culture with very little value to show for it.

Here is to a push in a more progressive direction. If you see Onajé Malik Lott slacking hold me accountable. Lets put the best of ourselves on display and make good ideas executed ideas. Lets keep filth where it should be in the basements of our reality and not on the big screens for all to glorify. Our humanity dictates imperfection and even evil, but to glorify the lowest parts of our existence is truly a waste. No one is winning that way. Lets leave this place better than when we came in.
